About Danielle

IMG_2783-X3My name is Danielle and thank you for visiting my blog Stories Unfolded.

I’m currently living in California with my wonderful husband.  We love to eat, watch TV, and drink wine together. He puts up with my need to constantly be doing something and wonders how I can read for hours at a time.

I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Woodbury University.  I play softball 2-3 times per week and try to spend as much time with my family as I can.  My day job (something all aspiring authors have) is working in Motorsports & Sports commercial insurance.

Now that I’m done telling you the basics, I will tell you a little bit about my blog.  I started this blog in March 2012 because I love writing and telling stories. Then somewhere along the line I realized that I should focus on writing about books as well because I love reading and I’ve been obsessed with reading all my life.  I think a love of writing and a love of reading go hand in hand.  So, on any given day, my blog will consist of book reviews, anything related to books, reading, and my writing.

I’m also the Social Media Chair for the Women’s National Book Association – Los Angeles Chapter.  I love working with this amazing non-profit organization that brings people together who all share a love of books.

I’ve also been working on a few books of my own; a couple of ficition novels and a memoir that’s been in the works for a long time now. I hope one day I can share my books on my blog.

Please share, like, and comment on posts that hit home for you.  If you have any book recommendations I would love to add them to my reading list.

I love your new blog layout. I did a double take when I clicked on it today, because I usually read your posts on my home reader. Not sure how long ago you changed it, but it looks great!
